Janet Stone, PT - Owner/Operator
Specialities: Spine, Orthopedics, Sports Injuries, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain, and TMJ Dysfunction.
Janet graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University in 1983 with a degree in Physical Therapy. She and her husband, Jim, opened Exercise Therapy Consultants in May of 1998, after seeing a need for personalized physical therapy in the Kansas City area.
Janet has spent most of her years as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting, with extensive training and experience in treating back and neck injuries, TMJ conditions, chronic pain, headaches and sports injuries. Janet is also certified by WorkHab to perform functional capacity evaluations. She is trained in therapeutic exercise, McKenzie's technique, myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, cranio sacral therapy, strain/counter strain, muscle energy, spine mobilization and manipulation, extremity mobilization, neural mobilization, lumbar stabilization, PNF, and vestibular rehabilitation. She has taken numerous classes in advanced treatment techniques.
In her free time, Janet enjoys Zumba, weight training, cardiovascular exercise, playing the piano, and crocheting. She lives in Belton with her husband and their three dogs. Janet and Jim's son, Matthew, recently graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a dual degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering. He now works for the government performing research and development on Naval aircraft.

Jennifer Mattson, MPT - Physical Therapist
Specialties: Orthopedics, Strain/Counter Strain Releases, Core and Extremity Stabilizations, CVA Therapy, and Sports Injury.
Jennifer graduated with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2006. She has worked with ETC Physical Therapy since August of 2007. Prior to that, she worked in the inpatient rehabilitation department at North Kansas City Hospital. Jennifer's primary location is the Lee's Summit clinic, where she incorporates a combination of therapeutic and functional exercise with manual therapy techniques to meet each patient's needs.
Before working in the physical therapy field, Jennifer was a competitive gymnastics coach and continues to enjoy working with young athletes. While she treats a wide variety of diagnoses, her passion is to treat those dealing with orthopedic injuries.
During her free time, Jennifer enjoys running, weight lifting, and baking. She lives with her husband, daughter, and two dogs in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Amanda received her Bachelors in Movement Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville. She grew up in the Kansas City area and lived and worked in Las Vegas for four years before returning to Kansas City in 2013. She has worked her entire career in outpatient orthopedics, utilizing manual therapy techniques in combination with exercise and functional activity. Amanda enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses to keep her contantly growing and evolving her professional skill set.
Outside of the clinic, Amanda is busy with her husband, two little girls, and two dogs. She is an avid exercise lover and when the weather is right, loves being outside.

Janda obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University in 2007. During her Doctorate program, she completed extensive research on the shoulder joint and was published in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in 2008. Since graduating, she has practiced primarily in an outpatient setting with focus on orthopedics, balance, aquatic progression, and manual therapy. She earned her certification in 2012 as a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT) from the International Spine and Pain Institute.
Janda knew at an early age she wanted to be a Physical Therapist. Being a caretaker comes naturally, as she grew up around several family members with disabilities. She has a strong passion to help others and optimize function. During free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking out, jogging, playing tennis, and golf. She has resided in the KC area all her life, married her high school sweetheart, and has two young sons and a yellow lab.

Jon Andalikiewicz, DPT - Physical Therapist
Specialities: Geriatrics, Orthopedics, and Sports Injury.
Jon graduated from Rockhurst University in May 2013, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Before moving to Kansas City, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. In Lawrence, he was a founding member of the KU strength club.
Jon has a passion for the geriatric, orthopedic, and sports population. He enjoys the outpatient setting where he is able to incorporate manual therapy skills, as well as proper body mechanisms for exercise and force production. He also enjoys getting to know each of his patients to improve their overall health and wellness.
Jon is currently working on becoming a Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT) and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sarah graduated from The University of Kansas Medical Center in May 2014, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Before that, she received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Sarah is an avid KU fan.
Sarah joined the ETC team in July 2014 and works as the head physical therapist at the Belton clinic. She has a passion for helping people and loves the diversity the outpatient orthopedic population offers, including geriatics, sports rehab, pediatrics, and more.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys coaching club volleyball, playing indoor and outdoor volleyball, participating in Title Boxing and Crossfit, baking, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in Overland Park with her lovely husband and puppy, Jack.

Sonia Duncombe, PT - Physical Therapist
Sonia joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in October 2014. Sonia attended Simon Frazer University for an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and then graduated from Queen's University in 1999, with a degree in Physical Therapy. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Sonia moved to Kansas City in 2006.
When first arriving in Kansas City, Sonia worked for Blue Valley Physical Therapy; she then changed gears to work for a hospice company for 4 years. Sonia enjoys all aspects of Orthopedic Physical Therapy, especially hands-on manual therapy, neuromobility, stabilization/core strengthening, and "functional movement systems". Sonia also works with clients who are suffering from Vestibular dysfunction. Sonia enjoys working with all populations: geriatric, pediatrics, athletes, and pre- and post-operative patients.
Sonia is married to a native Missourian and they have two children and a dog. Sonia and her husband teach and train Capoeira in the Brookside Community. Sonia loves family time and enjoys traveling, skiing, snowboarding, soccer, and gardening.

Ben Brandt, DPT - Physical Therapist

Ben is a recent Doctorate-level graduate of the University of Saint Mary Physical Therapy Program in Leavenworth, Kansas. He grew up in Nebraska and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska in 2011. His main interests in the field of physical therapy include manual therapy, especially the spine, and sports rehabilitation.
In his free time, Ben enjoys working out, golf, fishing, and all things sports-related. He is a big fan of Kansas City's professional sports teams including the Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC. Currently, he lives in Overland Park, Kansas, where he enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Jay Ryan, DPT - Physical Therapist

Jay joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in 2015. He graduated from Rockhurst University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2015. While he treats a wide variety of diagnoses, his passion is to treat those dealing with orthopedic injuries.
During his free time, Jay enjoys participating in any sport, exercising, and watching KU basketball. He lives with his wife and two cats.

Michele Spencer, PT - Physical Therapist
Michele received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1987. A specialist in outpatient orthopedic sports medicine, Michele has worked and trained under some of the nation's top sports and spinal rehabilitation experts. Her long and impressive resume includes advanced specialization training at the Sport Medicine Training Center in Dallas, Texas, with the medical team for the Dallas Cowboys, the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Center (PRCA), and two years in the Gulfport Institute's Manual Orthopedic Residency Program.
In her 29 years of practice, Michele has held positions of staff physical therapist, director and clinical shared partner in both Dallas and Kansas City.
Michele played basketball at Oklahoma State University and still maintains a healthy and active lifestyle. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, camping and backpacking, and she enjoys both water and snow skiing. She has been with ETC since March of 2015.

Amy Schmitz, PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Amos@ETCphysicaltherapy.com Amy has worked with ETC since May of 2010, after graduating from Metropolitan Community College. Although she occasionally works each of our locations, Amy can primarily be found in Brookside. While skilled in a variety of physical therapy techniques, she focuses on exercise in therapy, and uses a variety of hands-on techniques. These techniques include massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, and joint mobilization to help patients get their joints moving properly.Before working in Physical Therapy, Amy worked as a copy editor, designer, and editor for several newspapers in the Kansas City area. She received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 2003.Amy, also known as "Amos," is a competitive runner. You might see her squeeze in a few miles at lunchtime near one of the clinics. She loves to travel, especially to the West, where she can hike and camp. Amy lives with her husband and two dogs in West Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.

Clayton Kellerman, PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Clayton@ETCphysicaltherapy.comClayton graduated from Baker University, nestled in historic Baldwin City, Kansas, in 2008, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. After graduating, he continued on with his education at Penn Valley, graduating in 2011 with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Clayton enjoys working in outpatient physical therapy, because it gives him the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people and diagnoses with different backgrounds and abilities, which allows him to learn something new every week.
Clayton enjoys working out, singing, and playing guitar, but mostly, loves spending time with his wife and son.

Matt lives on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a newlywed! In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and outdoor activities, including jogging, swimming, and biking.

Laura graduated from Baker University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. She is also a graduate of MCC Penn Valley, where she graduated with her Associates Degree in Allied Health as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Laura enjoys working with all patient populations and helping them reach their goals with a combination of manual techniques and therapeutic exercises.
Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and son, she hopes to complete her first triathalon this year.

Megan joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in March of 2014. She received her PTA License in July 2012 and has experience in skilled nursing, home health, hospital, and outpatient settings. Megan is excited to be a part of the ETC Physical Therapy family.
Megan and her husband, Thomas, just welcomed baby Caroline in December. Big sister, Gracie, is a big help and constant entertainment. They enjoy going to the lake and are looking forward to their first trip to Disney World. Throw in two ornery Shih Tzus and there is never a dull moment!

Ginger graduated with an Associate of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Penn Valley in May 2015. She has been working with ETC Physical Therapy since 2015. Ginger has a growing passion for orthopedic injuries, women's health, and pediatrics.
Her long term desire is to spend time in third world countries on short-term medical mission trips, practicing as a physical therapy assistant with her husband, who is an Army Medic.
Ginger lives in downtown Kansas City with her husband. In her free time, Ginger invests time and energy in a new church plant in the Midtown Kansas City area. She enjoys the outdoors, running, playing the violin, and spending time with her friends and family.

Amanda Wilson, PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant
Amanda joined the ETC family in September 2015 working in our Belton clinic. She was exposed to PT while working in a nearby senior living facility and made the decision to attend PTA school at Penn Valley Community College, where she earned her A.A.S. degree in May of 2015.
She enjoys working with the elderly in the skilled setting and providing therapy in the outpatient setting. She like the outpatient setting because of the exposure to many different injuries and diagnoses, therefore, allowing her to utilize the skilled she learned in school. Prior to a becoming a PTA, Amanda worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for 10 years. Her passion in life has always been providing care to those in need.
Amanda grew up in Peculiar, Missouri and has lived in/near the Cass County area her whole life. She met her husband in high school and has been married for 8 years. They have a 6-year-old son named Luke and a baby girl due in March 2016. Amanda and her family love spending time together, taking walks, going swimming, and watching movies.

Patrick's involvement in expanding our dedication to an excellent therapy experience has been invaluable, and speaks volumes to our extremely positive reputation in each of the areas of Kansas City with which he is involved.In his personal life, Patrick is an avid paddler. Since 2009, he has competed in the MR340, which is the longest nonstop river race in the world. His active lifestyle has recently become even more exciting, as he and Shari welcomed their first child in August of 2012. Although a graduate of Fort Lewis College, Patrick is an avid Kansas State University fan.

Through his traveling, he has been able to observe many different medical professionals' specialized practices, and has learned a great deal about the needs and expectations of each. With his expertise and personable demeanor, ETC Physical Therapy has developed exceptional relationships with the many facilities in the Kansas City metro area.Outside of his time spent at ETC, Sam serves as a Captain with the Kansas City Fire Department, with which he has been affiliated for 17 years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his 6-year-old daughter, and playing golf.

Matt Klick - Marketing Department
Matt has been with the ETC Physical Therapy family since February 2013. He has been learning and familiarizing himself with all of our clients across both state lines. His professional attitude along with his strong work ethic, make him the perfect addition to ETC. Along with being our representative at KU Hospital, Matt primarily services clinics and hospitals in the areas of North Kansas City, Parkville, Blue Springs and Olathe.
Matt has served with the Independence Fire Department for over 19 years on a truck and rescue company. A lot of his training in caring for patients and addressing their needs has helped him transition into a representative that is dedicated to helping our clients.
Matt enjoys vacationing and spending time with his son. As a member of the PTA for his son’s school, he chairs the public relations position and can be found volunteering at all of the special events. In his free time, he helps his father on his farm and is into fitness and weight training.

Christina Layman - Billing, Records, and Aging Manager Kris@ETCphysicaltherapy.comChristina began working for ETC Physical Therapy in March of 2008, specializing in administrative support, for which she handles all billing and insurance issues. While extraordinarily busy with the behind the scenes work of the clinic, she is sure to welcome all patients and provides a personable experience at our Administration office.Christina has lived in the Kansas City area for most of her life. She has two grown children and in 2014, she married her best friend. They four handsome grandsons and a beautiful granddaughter together.

Erin Ridenhour, Referral and Scheduling Coordinator
Erin joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in February 2013. Erin throughly enjoys her job at ETC and is always glad to help assist our patients in any way she can!
Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Erin moved to the Kansas City area in 2013. She currently lives in Harrisonville, Missouri with her three children, Zachary, Brenden and Breana. Although she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, Erin has many years experience working in the medical field assisting physicians and handling medical billing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children, going bowling, playing at the park on a sunny day, and having Wii "Just Dance" competitions. Erin loves to shop, go on vacations to sunny destinations, and enjoy a night out dancing with her girlfriends.

Autumn House - Patient Care Coordinator, North Kansas City
Autumn joined the ETC Physical Therapy team in September 2013. She has enjoyed being a Patient Care Coordinator at all 6 of our convenient locations, and has worked well with the provider teams to give our patients the best care. She has successfully transfered this experience to our Administration office, assisting with insurance billing and coordination of benefits. Autumn now works in our North Kansas City clinic and provides exceptional care to our patients.
A former Army reservist and military wife, Autumn has lived in 10 states but has made Kansas City her home. After graduating from Enterprise State Junior College in Alabama, she finished her degree in Medical Management from Metropolitan Community College at Longview. Autumn is the proud mother of two teenage boys, the oldest of which serves as a Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army, and the younger is still in high school. In her spare time, Autumn is a voracious reader, has competitively played roller derby for the premier Kansas City Roller Warriors, and referees for the Junior Warriors and Kansas City's men's league, The Cowtown Butchers.

Michelle Snow - Patient Care Coordinator, Pleasant Hill Michelle@ETCphysicaltherapy.comMichelle has worked at the Pleasant Hill location of ETC Physical Therapy since March of 2006. Among her many duties, she is in charge of the fitness facility, works as the front desk receptionist for the physical therapy department, and archives for the entire ETC Physical Therapy group. Her extensive knowledge of all things ETC creates an efficient and positive therapy experience.
As a lifetime resident of Pleasant Hill, Michelle can attest to the positive impression that corner of Kansas City provides. She is the proud mother of a teenage girl and a young son.

Degree with emphasis in Medical Science and Terminology from Nash Technical College in North Carolina and has completed various certifications in the medical field from Manhattan Vo-Tech College in Kansas. She loves helping and interacting with patients and throughly enjoys her job at ETC!
Jennifer is originally from Florida and moved to Kansas in 1998 with her husband. They have three children, all of whom were raised in the Kansas City area. Jennifer's sons are active in football and soccer and her daughter participates in dance and cheer. She enjoys attending their games and competitions. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to read and spend time with her family.

Ricki Williams - Patient Care Coordinator, Lee's Summit
Ricki joined ETC Physical Therapy in December 2015. She started out in Belton and was then transferred to our Lee's Summit clinic. She works as a full time front desk receptionist and greets the patients in a warm and friendly manner. She loves her job at ETC and will help the patients in any way she can!
Ricki is originally from Warrensburg, Missouri and moved to Kansas City in 2012 to attend the Kansas City Art Institute. She shifted her interest to customer service and is now part of our wonderful staff. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, being outdoors, and playing on her co-ed softball team, where she participates in fundraisers for many local charities.

Emily Spindler-Richardson - Patient Care Liaison
Emily recently Joined ETC after moving back to the Midwest from New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and has worked in the mental health/social work field for most of her post-undergrad career. Emily serves as the Patient Care Liaison for ETC, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met.
In her free time, Emily enjoys travel, yoga, live music, cooking, and finding new adventures. She is excited to be a part of the ETC team!
